The Evolved Search expansion continues!
It seems like only yesterday that we rebranded to Evolved Search, but the past 4-5 months have been so busy that time seems to have whizzed by. This autumn, we welcomed four new members of staff and added a new Director to the company, as our exciting growth plans continue to take shape.
This is in addition to the 11 new recruits over the last 12 months, taking total headcount to over 25, and our recent acquisition of additional office space in The Toffee Factory, to allow us further growth over the next 18 months, in line with targets to double revenue by 2020.
Hayley Wright, Louise Findlay, Lydia Booth and Lou Crane have all joined this autumn, adding 20 years of combined marketing industry experience, gained at respected agencies including Orange Bus and McCann, and in-house at brands such as Mattel and Egger Group.
Our Operations Director, Ian McIntosh, said; “We’re thrilled to have welcomed Louise, Hayley, Lydia and Lou to the team, following a fantastic fourth year of trading and continued expansion.
“Their backgrounds and experience in digital will certainly help to strengthen our current offering as we strive towards our growth targets. We still have three vacancies to fill, so we can’t wait to see how our team develops and grows even further over the coming year.”
Hayley Wright, speaking of her new role as SEO Account Manager, added; “I’m really excited to have joined Evolved and can’t wait to get stuck into supporting the great work that the team are delivering. The agency represents excellence in SEO, not only in the North East, but across the UK, so I’m proud that I’ll be able to contribute to that.”
In other exciting news, we appointed a third Director in Tom Etherington, previously our Head of Search, to facilitate growth and continue to improve the standard of delivery for clients, whilst building Evolved’s reputation as a leader in the search marketing industry.
Tom added: “It’s been a whirlwind year for us, gaining further recognition in the industry and taking on more great clients in the process, so our main priority is to continue providing the expertise and high-quality campaigns that we’re known for, with hopefully some more award wins along the way!”
Over the past 3 months, the agency has been shortlisted for 18 prestigious industry awards, including 5 at the UK Search Awards, 3 at The Drum Content Awards, 1 apiece at the Northern Marketing Awards and Northern eCommerce Awards, 4 at the North East Marketing Awards and most recently, 4 at the Northern Digital Awards, including ‘Search Agency of the Year’. Winners will be announced at the end of January for this prestigious awards event in the North.
Additionally, our Senior PR & Outreach Manager, Ruth Walker, was named on the shortlist of the Women in Marketing awards, which celebrates female excellence in the Marketing field on an international scale.
It’s safe to say, the Evolved Search expansion isn’t slowing down any time soon!
