Introducing the wonderful Women of Evolved Search: Part 3
This week we’ve been highlighting the incredible females we have within our team. Here’s part 3 of our interviews with the women of Evolved Search.
Ami Littlefair
What is your role at Evolved?
My role at Evolved is Digital Graphic Designer. I create graphics for content marketing campaigns that display data in a more visually engaging way for client blogs and outreach purposes.
How did you get into digital?
Over the years my career has naturally became more digitally focused with less designs being required for print.
I found the purely digital role at Evolved appealing as I knew it would allow me to expand my digital skills and discover content marketing, a world that is evolving all the time which is both exciting and challenging.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of becoming an independent homeowner at 25 and having the opportunity to work on lots of well-known global brands so early into my career.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about being outdoors surrounded by nature and idyllic landscapes. If I happen to be there at sunrise or sunset and capture it, then that’s an added bonus!
Another passion of mine is colour, whether it’s bold feature walls in my home, spotting rainbows whilst outside or adding another brightly coloured coat to my ever-growing collection. Colour just makes me happy.
Fun Fact:
Whilst living alone throughout the various lockdowns I have produced a series of photographs to mark and remember events. The photographs contain multiple duplicates of myself interacting with one another.
They bring amusement to others, show my dry sense of humour and challenge me creatively!

What is your role at Evolved?
I’m an Account Manager working in our Client Services team.
How did you get into digital?
When I left university, I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do for my career. I applied for a graduate digital role for a high street retailer absolutely not expecting to even get an interview but I somehow got the job.
I started doing online merchandising but not long after I started, I got the chance to work on the re-platforming and redesign of the website which sparked my passion for digital.
What are you most proud of?
Getting through university. I went two years later than people usually do and moved hundreds of miles away, near London. I absolutely hated it. I really struggled for the whole three years and thought about dropping out a lot. Still, I stuck it out and managed to come away with a 1st class degree.
What are you passionate about?
Travelling. Can’t wait until COVID-19 is over and I can tick some more places off my bucket list!
Fun Fact:
I was born with 2 and a half kidneys (duplex kidney) and had the half removed when I was 3.

What is your role at Evolved?
I’m a Digital PR Consultant in our award-winning Digital PR team!
How did you get into digital?
I studied Fashion Communication at uni and went into PR & Social from there, starting with agency roles in London before making the move back up North to join the Evolved Search team.
What are you most proud of?
I was British champion at artistic roller skating and represented GB at a European level.
What are you passionate about?
The colour black, food, festivals, overpriced cocktails.
Fun Fact:
I once got mistaken for Alice Levine by her own team when we were working the same event
Steph Holmes
What is your role at Evolved?
I’m a Digital PR Executive at Evolved. My job involves helping some of our amazing clients in the automotive and lifestyle sector gain coverage and links across a wide range of publications.
How did you get into digital?
I don’t want to use the phrase I fell into Digital PR but it’s true I did! I studied Journalism at uni, before landing a marketing job on the side of doing some freelancing with the BBC. I then joined Evolved around 18months ago, where my journalism degree comes in useful being on the other end of the spectrum pitching stories to journalists.
What are you most proud of?
Apart from my growing plant collection and some of the girls highlighting my great ability to make my gel nails stay on ages, I’d say I’m proud of the charity work I’ve done throughout the years.
What are you passionate about?
I like walking, climbing fells and anywhere with nice scenic landscapes. I like music, listening and singing away to myself and then really bad trashy TV like Say Yes To The Dress, but then again I am a partial WWE fan.
Fun Fact:
I was a backing singer on a local band’s single once.
Lauren Blagdon
What is your role at Evolved?
I am a Paid Marketing Consultant, focusing on paid search across a variety of platforms.
How did you get into digital?
I studied Business with Marketing Management at Northumbria University and knew that I wanted to work in marketing. I worked within a few in-house marketing teams previously and really enjoyed all the digital marketing elements of the job.
I wanted a job that would allow me to do that full time. I started at Evolved Search in June 2017 as a PPC Executive.
What are you most proud of?
Inside of work, I am most proud of the results that we consistently achieve for our clients, our award wins and all our charitable contributions. I have never worked somewhere with such a generous and caring group of people and it makes me really proud to say I work at Evolved Search.
Outside of work, I am most proud of buying my first house on my own. It felt like such a milestone for me, and to be able to have a place that I can call mine feels amazing.
What are you passionate about?
Anyone who knows me knows that I love dogs. I grew up with 5 dogs and couldn’t wait to adopt my own dog. I was waiting until I bought my own house and three months after I moved in, I adopted Lexie.
Fun Fact:
I moved overseas when I was 9 months old and have lived in 7 countries.
Sinead Hall
What is your role at Evolved?
I’m Head of People at Evolved, so if there’s something to do with our team, it’s in my remit!
How did you get into digital?
I wanted to move into a business that placed people at the forefront of the agenda. A business that truly valued their team and the efforts and contribution people give, one that gave back to their people but also the local community and generally positively impacted the environment around it.
The marketing and digital agency world seemed to do that a lot better than other industries, then I discovered Evolved and my mind was blown at the next level they took this to.
What are you most proud of?
I would say my two children and the contribution they make to society.
What are you passionate about?
I like supporting people to be the best they can be, as a person and in their profession.
Fun Fact:
I was an extra in a Coca-Cola advert when I was 12.
